About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Acorn Homes Group. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, psychological, emotional, and recreational development.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with colleagues and external agencies.
  • Provide a safe and structured environment, encouraging children to develop life skills and participate in leisure activities, educational interests, and social opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the well-being and safety of children at all times.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of administrative records, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People or willingness to achieve.
  • Ability to work early, late, and night shifts, including sleepovers, on a rota basis.
  • Over 21 years old (Employer has claimed an exemption under the Equality Act 2010).
