Residential Support Worker

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in our homes across the Midlands region. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them to reach their full potential and experience new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Support young people in their daily routines, including morning and evening routines, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Encourage and facilitate young people's participation in hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and help them to learn new skills.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide relationship-based, person-centered care that meets the individual needs of each young person.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each young person's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold, or be working towards, the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England), or hold an equivalent qualification such as NVQ 3 caring for children and young people. You will also need to be prepared to complete any additional work to meet the requirements of the role.
