About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance UK&I team at Howden Group Holdings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance policies to support our business in meeting its regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the diligence review of all Appointed Representatives (ARs) and Insurance Intermediary Representatives (IARs) within the UK&I Retail Pillar to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
  • Liaise directly with stakeholders to discuss and investigate questions arising from due diligence.
  • Contribute to the development of compliance reports and annual reports to the Board, drafting relevant sections and ensuring that any clarification questions or required remedial actions are flagged with an appropriate level of clarity and prominence.
  • Drive forward the completion of agreed oversight interactions, through direct activity or through stakeholder management, to ensure that all businesses meet common standards.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and compliance policies, particularly in relation to Appointed Representatives in the insurance sector.
  • Practical knowledge of the key compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks expected of an FCA-regulated insurance intermediary.
  • Previous experience in compliance-focused oversight and regulatory training.
  • Proven ability to anticipate and adapt to changing regulatory standards.
  • Excellent investigative skills, with the ability to accurately analyze information.
  • Experience of direct interaction with the regulator is an advantage.
