Job Title: Senior Analyst Appointed Representative Oversight

At Howden Group Holdings, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Compliance UK&I team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expertise in Appointed Representatives (ARs) to provide assistance with design and approach, while overseeing diligence reviews of AR/IAR firms within the UK&I Retail Pillar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee diligence reviews of AR/IAR firms to meet regulatory expectations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to discuss and investigate questions arising from due diligence.
  • Contribute to the overall compliance report/annual report to the Board, drafting relevant sections and ensuring clarity on required remedial actions.
  • Drive forward the completion of agreed oversight interactions, ensuring all businesses meet common standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong UK regulatory technical knowledge and experience of ARs in the insurance sector.
  • Knowledge of FCA requirements specifically relating to general insurance products within ICOBs & PS22/11 relating Appointed Representatives.
  • Practical knowledge of key compliance policies/procedures/frameworks expected of an FCA regulated insurance intermediary.
