Customer Service Engineer

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team as a Customer Service Engineer - Complex Systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and Field Service staff who diagnose, troubleshoot, and/or repair complex equipment and sophisticated systems.
Job SummaryAs a Customer Service Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical support via phone and troubleshoot issues related to complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer software, and networked systems.
- Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for future technical focus areas to drive improved performance and customer satisfaction.
- Create service-related documentation, including installation manuals, troubleshooting guides, and recommended spares lists.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical support needs, managing requests, follow-ups, and deadlines.
- Repair customer instruments in the field, in-house, or remotely.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- At least four years of direct service experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Oracle, and MS Office product suite is preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
