About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Lead to join our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) department at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Nursing Lead, you will play a key role in driving standards and performance within the department, working closely with the senior management team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in the SDEC department, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce waiting times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an acute setting.
  • Leadership qualification or working towards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
