About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Lead to join our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) department at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving standards and performance within the department, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to provide high-quality care to patients in the SDEC department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience as a Band 5 or 6 nurse in an acute setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience of managing a team or area within a ward area (desirable).
