About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Lead to join our team in Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving standards and performance within our SDEC department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, same-day emergency care in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Lead a team of nurses to achieve and surpass expectations of patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Oversee the daily management of the unit with the support of the senior management team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements
  • 2 years' experience as a Band 5/6 in an acute setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Experience of managing a shift or area within a ward.
