Head of Private Client Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Private Client Solicitor to lead our Private Client department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing client service, team management, business development, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and expand the Private Client department, covering Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration, Court of Protection, Deputyship management, IHT and Asset Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Compensation Trusts.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and innovation in the department.
- Manage and develop a team of solicitors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional client service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring the department remains compliant and competitive.
- Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in Private Client law.
- Proven track record in team management and leadership, with strong skills in business development, communication, problem-solving, and client relationships.
- Completed or working towards a STEP diploma.
- Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office.
- Driven and professional, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
