Head of Private Client Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Private Client Solicitor to lead our Private Client department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the department, covering a range of areas including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration, Court of Protection, Deputyship management, IHT and Asset Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Compensation Trusts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Private Client department, ensuring high-quality client service and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and innovation in the department.
- Oversee team management, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in Private Client law.
- Proven track record in team management and leadership, with strong skills in business development, communication, problem-solving, and client relationships.
- Completed or working towards a STEP diploma.
- Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office.
- Driven and professional, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
