Hours: Monday-Friday 08.30am - 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a leading recruitment agency specializing in the automotive and motor trade industries, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be part of a small sales ledger team and will be responsible for:

  • Credit Control: managing internal and external debtors, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Financial Data Management: collating and posting banking transactions, reconciling the bank, and processing remittances and items off the bank.
  • Sales Ledger Administration: maintaining accurate records of internal sales and vehicle sales ledgers, and performing ad-hoc duties to support the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an accounts assistant or sales ledger assistant role, with a good understanding of Excel and fast data entry skills. Motor trade experience is desirable but not essential.
