This growth is not planned to slow down, with a growing team, business, customers, orders, and market need for their specialised engineering their future is bright.
**The Job**
This Purchase Ledger Assistant job is a replacement for the current postholder and will be responsible for:
- managing the end-to-end supplier ledger through accurate data input and review, including allocation of payments to invoices, allocating credit notes or supplier refunds correctly
- daily bank account reconciliations
- ensuring timely payment of suppliers, sending out remittances, ensuring postings are made to the system and an awareness of cashflow
- maintaining relationships with suppliers and attending to queries in a timely manner
- when required, assisting with the customer ledger system and dealing with queries in a timely manner
- assisting colleagues within the finance team to cover holidays/other absences
- ad hoc administrative duties
The finance team are friendly and relatively chilled, like to make a fuss on birthdays and celebrations and enjoy the occasional out of office activities.
**The Requirements**
**This role is part-time circa. 25 hours per week over 4-5 days with flexibility around this.**
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and working as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, external and internal stakeholders
- Proven organisations skills and have a systematic approach to resolve queries
- Numerical accuracy is key to this role so a good eye for detail is essential
- Ability to use own initiative
**The Benefits**
- Salary circa. £25,000 pro rata but with flexibility depending on hours
- Death in service
- Pension is 5% business, 3% employee
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (pro rata)
- Hybrid - 1 day a week working from home
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
