Job Summary:

Your primary goal will be to manage and guide the development of our tech products according to the business needs, steering product requirements, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering on-time, on-scope product updates.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the tech product portfolio in the risk and controls area of investment banking.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to ensure that the product development aligns with the business needs and requirements.
  • Serve as an effective communication bridge between senior stakeholders, User Experience team, and the tech team, ensuring clear and precise conveyance of needs and expectations.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring that all items are appropriately prioritized and prepared for sprint planning.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding product development, delivery timelines, and scope.
  • Continually assess the risk and control landscape, identifying areas for product improvement or new product opportunities.
  • Provide direction and technical leadership on complex, high-impact projects and in all phases of the development and implementation process.

Requirements:
  • Experience in an IT Product Owner role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tech products, ideally within a banking or financial services context.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, especially with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; background in Engineering preferred.
