Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to lead our neurorehabilitation team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in helping service users regain essential skills and improve their quality of life.

About the Role
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage occupational therapy services within a multidisciplinary team using evidence-based practices.
  • Transform Care: Develop, assess, and implement personalized treatment plans for individuals with complex neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with service users, their families, and other professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Mentor: Provide guidance to rehabilitation support workers, overseeing task delegation, monitoring, and care plan evaluations.
  • Champion Quality: Conduct risk assessments, maintain professional documentation in line with RCOT standards, and contribute to clinical governance and service innovation.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a compassionate and driven leader with:

  • Qualifications: Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously while guiding a team of professionals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
