About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to lead our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering expert occupational therapy services to individuals with acquired brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead occupational therapy services using the BIRT Neurobehavioral model.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of service users with neurological conditions, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating tailored treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Delegate tasks to rehabilitation support workers, ensuring effective handover, monitoring, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments, maintain professional documentation, and contribute to clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.
  • Use leadership skills to guide, mentor, and inspire colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

About You

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist with a Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health & Care Professions Council. You will have extensive experience and expertise in neurological rehabilitation, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
