About the Role:

  • You will originate investment ideas across the credit product suite via early engagement with relevant parties, including financial sponsors and company management teams.
  • Engage in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses.
  • Participate in structuring, negotiating, and documenting investments.
  • Communicate and defend investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees, including AMD and Firm-wide Investment Committees.
  • Actively monitor existing investments in the portfolio.
  • Build relationships with sponsors, management teams, and internal GS stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • An investment banking and private credit/direct lending background with 2 to 4 years' experience.
  • Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for investing with specific interest in credit or other structured products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A flexible and creative mindset, with the ability to analyze various industries and businesses.
  • The ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments.
  • The ability to interact and build relationships with a wide variety of people.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this role is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
