**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assess and diagnose patients with respiratory conditions, developing personalized treatment plans.
  • To manage and coordinate patient care, working closely with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • To contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols, ensuring best practices in respiratory medicine.
  • To participate in research studies and quality improvement initiatives, enhancing our understanding of respiratory diseases and improving patient outcomes.

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

  • MRCP or equivalent qualification in Respiratory Medicine.

Desirable Requirements

  • MD, PhD, or equivalent degree in a relevant field.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Broad-based training in Respiratory Medicine and its subspecialties.
  • NHS experience within the last three years, preferably in a respiratory specialty.

Management and Audit

  • Sound understanding of clinical governance principles and implications.
  • Evidence of service audit, design, or change management.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £110,000-£150,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and professional development opportunities.
