We are a Wales-based charity providing support to children and young people at risk of homelessness in Barry.
**Job Description:**
This role involves working with young people aged 14+ as part of a residential care team, providing emotional and physical support within the home.
**Salary:**
The salary for this position is £25,788 (unqualified) or £28,035 (qualified to level 3), plus £56.47 sleep-in rates.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high levels of emotional and physical care to young people.
- Ensure a comfortable, safe, and supportive environment is maintained.
- Support young people in building relationships with families and external partners.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working within safeguarding frameworks.
- Ability to understand the impact of trauma on children and young people.
- Effective risk management skills.
**Benefits:

- Full-time hours (35 per week)
- 5.2 weeks annual leave (rising to 6.6 weeks) + bank holidays
