Nursery Assistant Role

Location: A coastal town in Wales

Salary: £84,000 - £85,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our EYFS team at a primary school in Barry. This role involves working closely with teachers and other staff to support the development, learning, and care of children aged 3 to 4 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Children's Learning: Engage children in various activities to promote their learning and development.
  • Resource Planning: Assist in planning and preparing educational resources to foster creativity and learning.
  • Social and Emotional Growth: Encourage positive interactions and help children develop social, emotional, and physical skills.
  • Progress Tracking: Observe and record children's progress to share with parents and the wider team.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning (LEVEL 1/3)
  • Experience: Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Safeguarding Commitment: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
