About the Job: We are looking for a Learning Mentor for SEMH Needs to join our team. As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support to children with SEMH needs. You will play a key role in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students to engage fully with the curriculum and develop essential social and emotional skills.

Job Description:

  1. Support students with SEMH and other special educational needs in both one-to-one and group settings.
  2. Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  3. Implement individualised learning plans and strategies to help students overcome their challenges.
  4. Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCO.
  5. Help to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
