Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Desk Analyst to join our team at the NHS Business Services Authority. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related incidents, service requests, and queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second-line support for all IT-related issues, including software and hardware incidents.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex issues to senior technicians as needed.
  • Manage access to applications and technology systems through effective access management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incidents, service requests, and queries.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
Requirements
  • ITIL v4 Foundation qualified or willing to work towards.
  • Relevant experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
