We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team at Medirest, a leading healthcare operating company. As a key member of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control within our hospital environment.
About the Role:
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by performing high and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
- Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors.
- Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full.
- Utilizing equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- A passion for patient care, with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
- Confidence working in a hospital environment, aware of potential interactions with unwell or distressed patients.
- A willingness to learn and take pride in your work, going the extra mile for our patients.
- Subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check, costs met by the employer.
