About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team at Compass Group UK&I. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospitals.

Salary: £12.08 per hour, with 25.5 hours per week guaranteed.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas.
  • Dust, mop, wipe, and scrub surfaces to maintain high hospital standards.
  • Ensure rubbish bins are emptied regularly and removed when full.
  • Follow Health & Safety guidelines and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • You must be passionate about patient care and able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
  • You should be able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
  • You will be working in a hospital environment, where you may come into contact with patients who are unwell or distressed.
  • A Disclosure & Barring Service check is required for this position.
