We are seeking a highly skilled Molecular Biologist to join our team at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London. As a key member of our research group, you will play a vital role in developing and deploying cutting-edge methods for cancer detection.

">About the Role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing novel molecular diagnostic assays using next-generation sequencing of circulating cell-free tumour DNA (ctDNA). With a strong background in bioinformatics and experience in translational research, you will work closely with clinicians and researchers to develop clinical diagnostic tools.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a generous benefits package, including access to a pension scheme, 30 days' annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Molecular Biology or a related field, with significant experience in next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, and clinical diagnostics. A strong publication record and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
