Finance Assistant Job Opportunity in Milton Keynes

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our esteemed client's team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, collaborating closely with colleagues, and ensuring that all accounting tasks are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile closed projects to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Manage sales invoice reconciliation to maintain a smooth cash flow.
  • Record sales invoices in Gross Profit accounts to track revenue.
  • Update purchase ledger records in Gross Profit accounts to reflect transactions accurately.
  • File purchase ledger documents for easy access and compliance.
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail to identify and rectify errors.
  • Proficiency in Excel to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Experience with SAGE, Xero, or similar accounting software to manage financial tasks efficiently.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or purchasing ledger management to understand financial processes.

The estimated salary for this position is £34,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
