Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Assistant to support our marketing initiatives and contribute to the growth of our digital presence. As a key member of our marketing team, you will assist in executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies, collaborating with internal teams to ensure brand consistency, and analyzing performance metrics to inform marketing decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and content marketing.
  • Support in crafting SEO-friendly content, including blog posts and social media updates, to enhance our online presence.
  • Design visually engaging content for digital marketing campaigns using Canva, ensuring consistency with our brand identity.
  • Help manage and update the company website through WordPress, ensuring accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor online communities and brand mentions on social media platforms, providing insights for marketing strategies.
  • Track and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, suggesting improvements to optimize results.
  • Assist in maintaining email marketing campaigns, including building email lists, creating newsletters, and tracking engagement.
  • Perform market research and competitor analysis to support the development of marketing strategies, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, maintaining a cohesive brand image.
  • Maintain marketing data and performance metrics in Excel for analysis and reporting, providing actionable insights for marketing decisions.
Requirements
  • Recent university graduate with a degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using Canva for content creation preferred.
  • Familiarity with WordPress (or willingness to learn) and Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other digital marketing tools.
  • Good knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices, with experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
