About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team at Safran Engineering Services UK Limited. As a key member of our program, you will be responsible for coordinating, leading, and managing various projects in engineering, industrialization, and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery of design documentation and managing supply chain activities.
  • Project Management: Oversee project tests, documentation, and reporting, including financial and technical scope.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resourcing requirements, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party contractors, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, including financial and technical scope, to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Relevant degree-level education or substantial experience, preferably with certifications such as PMI, IPMA, or equivalent.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven experience in program management or complex project management, with a strong engineering background and experience in managing research and development projects.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with project teams and stakeholders.
