About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team at Safran Engineering Services UK Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating, leading, and managing various projects in engineering, industrialization, and test development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery of design documentation and managing supply chain activities.
  • Project Management: Oversee project resourcing requirements, manage project tests, documentation, and reports, and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for third-party contractors, manage digital tools, KPIs, and dashboards, and expedite tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage emergent risks and issues, escalating them as necessary to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Relevant degree-level qualification or substantial experience, preferably with PMI, IPMA, or equivalent certifications.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven experience in programme management or complex project management, strong engineering background, and experience in managing research and development projects.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication skills, ability to build good working relationships with project teams and stakeholders, and a well-organized approach to maintaining focus on deliverables.
