About the Role

Bron Afon Community Housing is embarking on an exciting period of transformation, driven by the launch of our five-year Corporate Strategy. We are seeking a skilled Programme Management Support Officer to join our Portfolio and Performance team, playing a key role in managing change across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of our Programme Management Office (PMO) and coordinate programmes of work, working closely with Programme and Project Managers.
  • Maintain a focus on benefits monitoring and realisation, providing professional programme administrative support.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of programmes, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation.
  • Provide administrative support for the Portfolio and Performance Lead, ensuring seamless programme delivery.

Requirements

  • Awareness and understanding of formal project management standards, including knowledge of ICT systems and software.
  • Working knowledge of effective risk management and mitigation techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Understanding of social housing policies, practices, and procedures.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working in a changing environment and understanding of Programme Management techniques and standards.
