Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor internal store processes, including financial indicators, health and safety compliance, and other key performance indicators to ensure targets are met.

  • Take responsibility for the financial compliance and safety and security of your store, through vigilant observation and adherence to cash procedure.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all store documents, including rotas, to ensure full coverage in store.
  • Monitor the recruitment needs of your store with the support of your Area Manager to ensure the most talented candidates are hired.
  • Take responsibility for the training and development of your team in store, to nurture consistent progression and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant Costa Coffee brand standards and communications, including internal Goldex Investments standards and communications, to ensure compliance and the passing of Costa checks.
  • Ensure consistent communications with both your Line Manager and Office Staff to keep stores functioning, including payroll and HR queries, raising maintenance issues, and submitting banking and any required paperwork on time.
