About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Assistant / PA to join our client, a leading investment bank in Central Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a polished, hardworking, and driven individual to work in their impressive offices Monday to Friday.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, including diary management, coordinating meetings and conference calls across multiple time-zones, managing high volumes of phone calls and emails, and coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and video calls.
You will also be responsible for arranging travel arrangements for the team, including visa applications, international flights, and accommodation bookings, as well as managing expenses and taking on ad-hoc tasks while maintaining workflow.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 6 months of experience working in an office-based environment, preferably as a PA or in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to engage with people at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diary management and coordination of meetings and conference calls
- Managing high volume of phone calls and emails
- Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and video calls
- Arranging travel arrangements for the team
- Expense management
- Taking on ad-hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
- Providing phone and holiday coverage for other colleagues
