We are seeking an experienced Therapy Service Manager to join our Therapy and Discharge Service team at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the provision of a high-quality therapy service to patients across Urgent, Emergency and Acute Medicine, ensuring a seamless transition from the acute setting.

The team works closely with local organisations to assess and plan therapy needs and discharge arrangements for patients admitted through our busy Emergency Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To manage the delivery of a high-quality therapy service to a range of patients, ensuring a safe, efficient and effective discharge home with appropriate referrals into the community setting.
  • Collaborative working with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow through prioritising the caseload and supporting therapy colleagues to organise their caseload appropriately.
  • Leading the team in their development and assisting in the day-to-day running of the therapy service.
  • To provide support and professional development of junior staff.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years post-graduate experience at a senior level in the relevant clinical area.
  • A proven record of providing high-quality intervention for high-risk patients.
  • Fieldwork educator.

Salary: £45,753 - £51,039 per annum (inclusive of London weighting allowance)
