We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hand Therapist to join our team in a leading private hospital near Baker Street. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hand therapy and eager to work in a dynamic environment.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working within the Hand Therapy team, managing complex cases and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have experience of working with orthopaedic hand and plastic surgery conditions, as well as skills in hand therapy splinting and post-operative wound care.
Responsibilities- To be professionally responsible for all aspects of your professional activities, adhering to the standards of the hospital, department, and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- To manage your caseload effectively, prioritizing clinical needs and allocating time efficiently.
- To assess a wide range of orthopaedic hand and plastic surgery conditions, applying advanced theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- To use advanced communication and behavior change skills to facilitate patient self-management.
- BSc (hons) degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Evidence of specialist knowledge in hand therapy through relevant post-graduate training.
- Experience of working with complex plastic and orthopaedic hand surgery cases.
- Highly skilled in hand therapy splinting and post-operative wound care.

The estimated salary for this role is between £40,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
