Occupational Therapy Lead for Community Service

Lead a pioneering community service
We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapy Lead to join our team at the East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary Reablement Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to adults and older people with complex needs.
Your primary responsibility will be to clinically lead and develop the provision of expert occupational therapy services to a specialist community caseload. You will work closely with users, informal carers, and other healthcare professionals to promote independent living and achieve optimal outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A BSc degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
- Experience of supervising senior and junior staff, students, and assistants, including HR management
- Clinical experience in the NHS or similar health service
- Ability to support others in maintaining health, safety, and security
- Ability to identify and assess potential risks involved in work activities and processes
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our service, working closely with colleagues to implement change and improve patient care.
