Job Overview

The Sales Director EMEA will be responsible for leading all sales activities in the assigned market, from lead generation to close. The successful candidate will develop and implement a sales and marketing plan that meets both personal and business goals of expanding the customer base in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales quotas and expand the customer base in the EMEA region.
  • Collaborate with the sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals.
  • Attend sales meetings and provide guidance to the OPSB sales team, surgical team, and distributors on specialty bracing products and their appropriate use.
  • Maximize all opportunities to close sales and take market share from larger competitors.
  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients on bracing solutions for pediatric hospitals, orthotics & prosthetics clinics, and rehabilitation facilities.
  • Oversee and coordinate all training and education efforts for the sales organization and customers.
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of sales experience specifically in the bracing and/or orthotics and prosthetics industry.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of sales and account management.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Proven ability to achieve and surpass sales quotas.
  • Fluency in English; fluency in German and/or other European languages is beneficial.

Education and Experience:

Requires a 4-year degree or commensurate years of experience with proven sales success in the medical device industry.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization across the region.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Requires a valid driver's license.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment, such as a computer and keyboard, calculator, fax, photocopier, telephone, cell phone, etc. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is that found in a normal hospital environment; OrthoPediatrics Specialty Bracing will be required to comply with all hospital protocols regarding vendor relationships, sterile fields in surgery, blood-borne pathogens training, etc.
