Assistant Team Manager

Wiltshire Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Team Manager to join our Support and Safeguarding Service. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in empowering families and protecting futures.

About the Role

This is a leadership role that requires a social work qualification, registration with Social Work England, and experience in a leadership or supervisory role. A level 4 management qualification is preferable. You will have at least 3 years' experience of working in children and families' social care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the dedicated team to enhance the delivery of the five "Every Child Matters" outcome.
  • Work closely with the Team Manager to achieve the service's goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote a culture of inclusion, dignity, trust, and respect.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
