Job Title: Adult's Registered Manager

Our client, a reputable provider of children's residential services, is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead their team in the Trowbridge Area.

About the Role

The home will accommodate four young people aged 7 to 17 years old, all of whom have emotional and behavioral difficulties stemming from adverse childhood experiences. Our client is committed to supporting these children through therapeutic parenting techniques to help secure better life outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for each child.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Prepare for and manage the Ofsted registration process.
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive care planning and delivery.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within a residential childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) and best practices in supporting children with these needs.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, families, and external agencies.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or social work (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent preferred).
