About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St John's Hospice in Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will work in the community providing outstanding palliative and end-of-life care to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, specialist end-of-life care to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the hospice team to deliver holistic care
  • Use initiative and organize your workload to meet the needs of patients and families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Full driving license (UK only) and access to your own vehicle
  • 1+ years' experience in a care setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • IT literacy and ability to work remotely with a laptop
