About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our Palliative Care team at St John's Hospice. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, specialist end-of-life care to patients and their families in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide palliative and end-of-life care to patients in their own homes, tailored to meet their individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to provide emotional support and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in palliative care.
About You:

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual with a passion for delivering high-quality care. To be successful in this role, you will need:

A full driving license (UK only) and access to your own vehicle.1+ years' experience in a care setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well within a team and use initiative.IT literacy and ability to use a laptop for remote working.About Us:
