Job Title: Infrastructure Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team at The JM Longbridge Group. As an Infrastructure Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and document infrastructure requirements within a project team.
  • Develop infrastructure designs for our private cloud, major cloud platforms, or Software as a Service (SaaS) providers.
  • Manage a small team of Engineers, including Software and Wintel Engineers.
  • Design infrastructure for Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, SQL Server, and.NET Framework.
  • Ensure infrastructure designs meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Requirements:
  • Experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, and data networking.
  • Awareness of Monitoring, Tuning, and Reporting for applications, databases, and network performance.
  • Ability to diagnose problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Agile, and DevOps, and how infrastructure design supports these practices.
