About the Role
As a Casual Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals in our residential homes, supported living accommodation, and community-based services. Your duties will include assisting with daily living tasks, administering medication, and promoting independence and choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and care to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
- Administer medication as required
- Promote independence and choice for individuals
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high-quality care and support
Requirements
- Positive and forward-thinking attitude
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals
- Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve
- Understanding of autism, learning disabilities, and related difficulties
- Commitment to continuous personal development and learning
