Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Employment team. As an Administrative Lead for Medical Office, you will play a crucial role in leading staff to deliver effective Finance, Benefit, and Debt advice and support to customers across prison estates, supporting their resettlement into the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Team Manager to coordinate the deployment of staff to ensure customers can access services in each of the custodial establishments, supported by strong partnership working.
  • Drive key performance objectives of individuals and teams, ensuring high-quality FBD information, advice, and guidance that helps customers to progress.
  • Provide peer support to colleagues to ensure they are able to provide high-quality FBD information, advice, and guidance that helps customers to progress.
  • Support advisers to ensure a high-quality action plan for each customer is produced and ensure levels of service in initial interactions achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure customers receive a multi-channel offer, including via the Virtual Campus, group workshops, and face-to-face sessions, personalized to meet individual needs, to develop FBD skills, encourage independence.
  • Established experience of participation in OASG inspection and Matrix assessment.
  • Understanding of the quality issues relating to FBD advice and guidance, particularly in a custody setting.
  • Ability to use digital channels and platforms in the delivery of information or advice and guidance, including the usage of specific online tools and websites within the Virtual Campus.

Requirements:

  • Experience of undertaking observations desirable, although training will be provided.
  • Marketing skills – networking and promotion in various situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
