As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Occupational Therapy service, providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the delivery of our Trust's objectives.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.
- Contribute to the development of our Occupational Therapy service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues, patients, and families on Occupational Therapy services and interventions.
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Extensive experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in a major trauma or orthopaedic setting.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
