About the Role

We are seeking a registered occupational therapist to join our team at the University of Plymouth. As a key member of our academic staff, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and research in occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess students on our pre-registration and postgraduate programmes in occupational therapy
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
  • Engage in research and knowledge exchange activities that advance the field of occupational therapy
  • Provide academic leadership and support to colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in occupational therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of teaching and assessing students in a higher education setting
  • A strong understanding of contemporary occupational therapy practice and research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
