Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to lead and manage our Occupational Therapy Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans, advising on service development, and ensuring that projected capacity and quality targets are met within agreed financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Occupational Therapy Service, working closely with the Therapies SLCM team
  • Develop and implement business plans to support the Trust's strategic ambition
  • Ensure effective performance management arrangements are in place for the Occupational Therapy service and staff
  • Liaise with the legal department to provide Occupational Therapy patient notes
  • Coordinate the support of undergraduate students and monitoring clinical governance

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of leading and managing a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong business planning and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy practice and current issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
