**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Home Healthcare Support Worker to provide high-quality care and emotional support to a child in need of palliative care in their home setting. As a Home Healthcare Support Worker, you will engage with the child through play, storytime, and activities that promote emotional and cognitive development, while respecting their comfort and needs during palliative care.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare, early years care, or palliative care and possess a caring and empathetic nature. You will work closely with our Care Coordinators and Nurse Managers to ensure continuous guidance and support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide palliative care to a child in need of comfort during palliative care
  • Engage with the child through play, storytime, and activities that promote emotional and cognitive development
  • Offer reassurance, cuddles, and comfort when the child is distressed or in need of support
  • Build a trusting, positive relationship with the child and their family
