">We are seeking a qualified Care Specialist to join our team in Leyland, Lancashire. As a Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with their social, physical, personal, and health care needs.
">Key Responsibilities

- Deliver person-centred care and support to individuals.">
- Work closely with families, friends, advocates, and other health and social care professionals to ensure individuals lead the lives they choose.">
- Safeguard vulnerable adults and ensure their safety and wellbeing.">
- Encourage autonomy, personal choice, preferences, and independence of the individuals we support.">
- Assist in planning recreational, social, vocational, educational events and activities.">
Requirements
">To be successful as a Care Specialist, you will need:
">- ">
- Relevant experience in supporting individuals within the social and/or health care sector.">
- Experience of providing care, NVQ 2/SVQ 2 in care or appropriate qualification.">
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.">
- Ability to work as part of a team.">
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.">
- Good organisation and time management skills.">
- Ability to work in stressful and/or challenging environments.">
- Awareness/knowledge of the social and/or health care sector.">
