About the Role:
">We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Care Specialist to join our team at Dovehaven Care Homes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a residential care setting, providing high-quality meal services for our residents.
">The successful candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking for large groups, with a strong focus on nutrition and presentation. You will be responsible for planning and preparing delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
">As a key member of our kitchen team, you will work closely with our catering supplier, Apetito, to ensure that our menus meet the highest standards. You will also be expected to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
">**Requirements:**
">* Experience in food preparation and cooking for large groups
">* Strong knowledge of nutrition and menu planning
">* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
">* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
">* NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in catering (or willingness to work towards)
