Job Description

This role involves working collaboratively with various partners, including educational settings, parents, social care colleagues, health services, and youth offending teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely education, health, and care assessments and reviews are undertaken and completed within statutory timescales for children and young people aged 0-25.

Responsibilities and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good working knowledge and understanding of current SEND legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • An ability to work collaboratively and effectively with various partners, including educational settings, parents, social care colleagues, health services, and youth offending teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.
