Housing Business Support Position

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per year

About the Job

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Housing Business Support. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our Neighbourhood Service team.

Main Duties
  1. Assist officers and Neighbourhood Managers in providing outstanding housing management and ASB prevention and enforcement services to residents within a designated area.
  2. Foster collaboration between teams to achieve set goals and objectives outlined in the Service Plan.
  3. Manage the administration of council-owned garages and car ports rentals, including initial allocations and contract terminations.
  4. Take lead in preparing and processing paperwork necessary for new tenancy agreements, encompassing site visits, tenant meetings, verification checks, and timely payment collection.
  5. Coordinate the mutual exchange process from receipt of notification through to its successful completion within regulatory timeframes.
